SUNDAY
Attend a pre-convention mini-course
These TWO HOUR "BONUS PROGRAMS" are FREE tio attendees, and will provide inspiration, get you ready for the week ahead, and give you more bang for your buck!
After the PM pre-con program, all first time students are invited to attend a brief orientation to get a quick overview of what to expect, receive their commemorative T-Shirt, and swag bag with official convention badge, convention program, vendor discount coupons, and other goodies. MARS staff will be on hand to answer any questions to help get your week off to a great start.
After you check into your room (check-in starts at 4), you'll start the week off right with our "Blast-Off" Welcome Reception and Dinner. Cocktails on the deck, and a fabulous meal is in store for you. A great opener to meet new friends and get re-acquainted with old ones!
HINT -now is the time to take part in our annual photo contest called the "the SHOOTOUT". Entries for this juried contest have the chance to win ribbons, prizes, cash, and maybe even a NEW Tamron lens!! Winners will be recognized at the Wrap Party on Thursday. REGISTER ONLINE NOW for the 2025 SHOOTOUT..
When dinner's over, we'll try a casual roundtable Q&A with our esteemed instructors. A really fabulous time to learn more about all the instructors. Ask something of ANY of them to gain insight and added knowledge.
Afterwards, go directly to your respective classroom for a couple of hours with your instructor for a preliminary "get-together"
MONDAY
Get up early and look for a great sunrise, then get to class for an intense day of learning.
In the evening, just before dinner, we'll try to get a giant group shot of all those in attendance.
Then, after dinner, take advantage of a 'student driven' freestyle sunset session. MARS has a few models lined up so you can use this time to create a gorgeous image.* NOTE - "Freestyle" photo session images CAN be used in the Shootout competition. If you're not into 'freestyling', take advantage of some 'free time' to explore the area on your own, walk the beaches, shop, or hang out with friends around the firepits on the deck.
TUESDAY
Get up early for a Sunrise freestyle photo-shoot. Student driven and open to all attendees. If you're into portraiture, there will be models available to help.* If not, there's always the 'nature' side to capture a beautiful sunrise or other creative image.
In the evening please join us for a school sponsored Alumni Dinner. Advance ticket price is only $25. You must register and purchase online. Proceeds benefit the school scholarship fund. The price of admission includes an amazing dinner, a special mini program by a guest instructor, AND the chance to win a $500 Scholarship for MARS 2026.
Then, after dinner, take advantage of another 'student driven' freestyle Session. Models will be available to work with.*

WEDNESDAY
In the morning, get up early and take part in a schoolwide SUNRISE Session (weather permitting), with the amazing talent of one of our instructors. Models, and another great learning opportunity. NOTE- images created during this session CANNOT be used or entered into competition.
THURSDAY
In the evening, join in the fun as the week culminates with our legendary "Wrap Party". This themed soiree is a blast, so don't be shy, get dressed up for the theme and have some fun. A happy hour on the deck (weather permitting), overlooking Rehoboth Bay, followed by a sumptuous dinner and wonderful event in the Ballroom, is the grand finale to your week of learning. Refreshing drinks, amazing food, terrific music, dancing, entertainment, prizes, awards and more. Eat, drink and have a blast....it's party time! You deserve it!
FRIDAY
After a couple of hours with your instructor to tie up 'loose ends', say goodbye to new and old friends, and prepare for the trip back home.
Make sure you sign up for next year before you leave!.
